Michael B. Herlands
Michael is the founder and managing principal of MBH ARCHITECTURE, LLC, since 1973. He has led the firm’s growth by focusing on providing quality design with a service driven approach to client needs.
The passion and personal involvement that he brings to each project, is one of the reasons why its clients hold MBH ARCHITECTURE, LLC in such high esteem.
Michael is a graduate of Cooper Union, School of Architecture. He is a Registered Architect in the States of Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, Indiana, Virginia and Vermont.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Connecticut Society of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is also a licensed Interior Designer in the State of Connecticut.
Michael has a strong background in a variety of significant projects. They include nearly one hundred and forty (140) Nursing Homes, over two hundred seventy (270) Clinical Hospital projects and Medical Office Buildings, Thirty five (35) Assisted Living, Independent Living and Senior Living facilities totaling over two thousand (2,000) Units and more than thirty (30) Corporate Offices projects totaling in excess of 350,000 SF.
